 1973 Sansui QRX-5500 Receiver/Amplifier.  This unit was completely  restored by us, AvalancheHiFi.  All electrolytic caps have been replaced  with either Nichicon, Rubycon or Kemet.  This unit has been thoroughly  cleaned down to the board surfaces and the chassis.  Many problematic  transistors have been replaced, and the Tuner board has been upgraded  using our process.  Lights have been replaced entirely, and upgraded  where necessary.  All metal has been polished. We offer a 12-month  warranty on parts and labor.

This was a unit the customer sent in for repair and decided not to  finish the project, we then finish them time permitting. The only flaws  on this unit are the lower side veneer pieces,  They have been treated  and polished, but are faded.
 

The 5500 has a few unique features, it's able to use the QBL-100  quadraphonic remote control. And it's able to do Karaoke via the front  MIC mixer.
 

45w per channel in two-channel mode and 25w in four-channel mode.  It's  terribly underrated due to the time period and is very loud.
